2 people jump from burning Montgomery County home that collapsed, officials say

Two people were injured after they jumped from a major house fire in Gaithersburg that caused the home to collapse Thursday morning, according to authorities. The Montgomery County Fire Department says they were called to the scene of the two alarm blaze in the 9200 block of Oriole Place some time after 4:50 a.m. Fire officials say all residents made it out of the building and that the two people hurt have non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the Washington Hospital Center burn unit. Close to 100 firefighters responded to the blaze before they knocked down the majority of the fire and got it under control, according to the fire department.
