Bowleys Quarters Volunteer firefighters are outraged by the theft that has grounded one of their fire and rescue boats. Monday Night, thieves used wire cutters to break through the fence and steal items from 8 boats at the Beacon Light Marina. Among the boats targeted by the thieves: Marine Unit 217, a 23 foot boat that can hold two patients, and 3 crew members. The boat goes on as many as 80 emergency calls a year.
