Prince George’s County firefighters said that a blaze in Bowie Sunday resulted in $100,000 in damage.
Firefighters were called to the home on the 15100 block of Narrows Lane around 11 a.m. to find flames burning through the roof. The bulk of the fire was extinguished in around 30 minutes, a spokesman for the Fire/EMS Department wrote in a tweet.
There were no injuries but one adult was displaced, the spokesman said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but department officials said a preliminary investigation indicates it was accidental.
