The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says that no one was injured in a fire that happened in Westminster, on Saturday night.
According to deputies, around 10:15 p.m., 50 Reese Volunteer Fire Company firefighters responded to a garage blaze in the 800 block of Deer Park Road. The estimated loss of belongings was $20,000, while the estimated loss of the garage was $80,000.
The fire took 30 minutes to control. The fire began inside of the garage and it was discovered by the homeowner. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
