A fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage to a house in Portage Sunday morning. The Portage Department of Public Safety was dispatched to 2030 Eckener Drive on a report of a residential structure fire at 7:30 a.m. A police officer was the first unit on scene and reported heavy fire with all occupants out of the structure. Fire crews were able to control the fire within 20 minutes. A neighboring home sustained minor heat damage due to the fire. The three occupants of the home were treated for smoke inhalation and released by Pride Care ambulance. Damage to the home and contents was estimated at $150,000.
