Dozens of evacuated patrons and onlookers huddled en masse Sunday night as multiple fire trucks rolled into the area to fight a fire at a downtown restaurant.
Fire crews arrived at the Chase Sports Bar at 105 E. Michigan Ave. in downtown Jackson at about 9:16 p.m., Oct. 23 for a structure fire, said bar owner Randy LeMaster.
"Some of my workers were in the back of the restaurant when someone came in through the back door and yelled 'call 911, you're on fire,'" LeMaster said.
