Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze that destroyed a pole barn. Firefighters were called about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 to a residence in the 1700 block of Jackson Street on a report of a pole barn on fire. Witnesses told firefighters they could hear what appeared to be fireworks going off. The fire may have caused a nearby propane tank to catch fire.
