Crews pull a woman from a house fire in Barry County.
We first heard reports of the fire around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning near M-37 and Tebo Road in Johnstown Township.
When fire crews arrived on scene, they said the house was fully engulfed with a bedridden woman trapped inside on the second floor. AA
Hastings Fire Chief, Roger Caris, confirms to Newschannel 3 they have since pulled her out of the house and she was taken by helicopter to a Grand Rapids hospital as a precaution.
Caris also said the father was taken by ambulance to the hospital for heart problems.
Right now, fire crews have cleared the scene, but investigators will head back to the scene later to determine what sparked the fire.
