Firefighter injured after falling through hole in floor on Detroit's west side

A firefighter was injured Thursday morning at a house fire on Detroit’s west. The fire happened in the 16800 Rosemont Avenue, near Southfield and McNichols roads. According to authorities, a firefighter fell through a hole in the floor. He was taken to Sinai-Grace Hospital and his injuries to not appear to be serious. The house was empty at the time of the fire.
