A man was critically injured after his vehicle crashed into a house Friday morning. The Flint Fire Department responded to a vehicle that had crashed just after 9 a.m. July 21 into a rear deck area of a home in the 1500 block of West Genesee Street, according to District Commander Steve Cobb. A man was inside the vehicle and it had caught fire, Cobb said. Firefighters used the "Jaws of Life" in order to get the man out of the vehicle and he was taken to a local hospital. Police took over investigating the scene after the man was pulled from the burning vehicle, Cobb said.
