As their two grandchildren played in the backyard, a fire started in Frank and Marie Knapp's garage Thursday, June 22.
The fire left their garage, Ford pickup truck and countless other possessions destroyed. No one was injured.
When the Jackson Fire Department arrived to the residence at the 100 block of E. Porter Street around 3:20 p.m., the Knapp's backyard garage was engulfed with smoke and flames, Assistant Fire Chief Todd Weaver said.
