A Mid-Michigan firefighter isn’t letting a little facial hair stop her from participating in a good cause. Stephanie Ittner of the Frankenmuth Fire Department is getting creative. Since many of her male coworkers are participating in No-Shave November, Ittner decided to draw on her own mustache to participate as well. The month-long journey grows cancer awareness and raises money for non-profit organizations that help support cancer prevention, research, and education. Every day Ittner goes out in public with a drawn on mustache. She even draws them on in different ways every day.
