Cascade Township Manager Ben Swayze says he is going to have a difficult time choosing from a pool of "outstanding" candidates to fill the township's role of fire chief.
"I thought all of the interviews were outstanding," Swayze said. "I think the decision for me got harder rather than easier today."
On Saturday, Oct. 14, the township held a day-long series of interviews with the five candidates -- Gregory Ginebaugh, Adam Magers, David Pelton, Todd Stevenson and Kenneth Van Hall.
The new fire chief will be responsible for leading the 30-member department, which serves the more than 18,000 residents of the township.
