VIDEO: A building was burning Friday morning at the Scorpions Motorcycle Club on Milford Road in Lyon Township. Milford Road is closed between 11 Mile and 12 Mile roads as firefighters respond. Crews have been working to douse the massive flames which consumed part of the clubhouse. No injuries have been reported. The club's chapter president said it appears someone used a mini excavator, such as a Bobcat, to break into the building to steal a safe. ClickOnDetroit has learned the excavator was stolen from a construction site nearby. It was being used to install a fence at the Michigan War Dog Memorial.
