Firefighters were called out early Thursday morning to a camper fire in Menominee. According to the Menominee Fire Department, the initial call to report the fire came in at 4:42 a.m. Thursday at 1404 29th Avenue in Menominee. The fire originated from a camper that was parked next to a residence. The fire then spread from the camper to a garage which it was parked next to. Two vehicles were also damaged in the blaze. One side of the garage was damaged, with smoke damage inside the structure as well. A firefighter from Marinette received a cut to his hand, but no other injuries were reported. The scene was cleared at 6:23 a.m.
