A firefighter is accused of stealing pain pills from a man who he had helped treat last year. Russell Daniel Fenner, 39, of Adrian is charged with one felony count of larceny in a building. He was arraigned Friday in Lenawee County District Court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, April 27. A personal recognizance bond was continued. Fenner is accused of going to a home on East Front Street in Adrian on March 21 to check on a man who was seriously injured in June in a fall from his home’s roof, said 1st Lt. Tony Cuevas, commander of the Michigan State Police post in Monroe. Fenner was one of the Adrian Fire Department personnel who responded to the call about the fall.
