Five people and seven animals are safe after their Kingsley home caught fire Wednesday afternoon. One of the five residents said he arrived home from work and saw smoke coming from the entryway. He said he opened the door and saw flames coming from the basement through the back porch and kitchen. There were three dogs, two cats, a bird and a guinea pig in the home at the time. Thankfully, everyone got out safely.
