Police are investigating after the discovery of two bodies inside a burning vehicle early Friday morning on the city's north side.
Flint firefighter responded at 6:07 a.m. June 15 to a vehicle that was on fire and parked in the driveway at a vacant home at 746 W. Jamieson St., according to Battalion Chief Ramsey Clapper.
After quickly putting out the fire, the bodies were found inside the vehicle, Clapper said.
"The vehicle was fully involved and fire started to spread to the detached garage," he said. "We quickly extinguished the fire and that's when the bodies were discovered."
The home where the vehicle was found was vacant, according to Michigan State Police Lt. Patrick Young.
He said investigators have not been able to determine the exact cause of death.
Young would not say what type of vehicle the bodies were found in.
