The state fire marshal is investigating this house fire on South Snyder Road near Sperry Road in Springfield Township, near Fife Lake. The chief of Springfield Fire tells us the fire started just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Three adults and a child were in the house when it started on fire but they are all OK. We’re told the home belonged to a firefighter. Gusty winds kept feeding the fire, but they had it under control in about an hour.
