On Thursday night local firefighters traded in their gear for a shopping cart. Inside Kasson's Shopko, four dodge county fire departments bought gifts for kids in southeast Minnesota. The money was donated by our local communities for Toys for Tots. A lot of these firefighters have been a part of the event in the past and say every year it feels good to give back. "That's the best thing is we are all here to help each other out. Without that we have nothing. Kids are most important and it would be nice to make them happy,” said West Concord Fire Chief Chad Finne.
