IGH Fire Chief Judy Thill was recognized nationally for her fire service leadership on November 10, 2017. The International Association of Fire Chiefs Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (IAFC VCOS) presented Chief Thill with the John M. Buckman III Leadership Award at their annual leadership Symposium in Clearwater, FL. This award is presented annually to an officer who “has demonstrated leadership, integrity and outstanding moral values within the fire service”.
