One person was killed in a Fridley house fire Tuesday. According to Fridley Fire Department Chief John Berg, firefighters were called around 8 p.m. to a fire at a home on the 400 block of Huge Street. Berg said callers reported the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the living room. Berg said an adult man was trapped on the second floor of the home. The chief confirmed the man died. His identity was not released. Berg said it was believed the fire was started from grease in the kitchen. No firefighters were injured while responding to the incident.
