A woman was rescued by firefighters from an apartment building fire in Apple Valley Sunday morning. According to Apple Valley Fire Chief Chuck Russell, a call came in reporting a fire at 6583 158th Street West around 10:30 a.m. The fire was reportedly on the third floor of the three-story building. Emergency responders were alerted someone was trapped. Medics and law enforcement attempted to rescue the trapped woman but were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Russell said the rest of the building was evacuated.
