No injuries were reported after a fire broke out in a residential garage in Plymouth Sunday evening. Plymouth fire Chief Rodger Coppa said the call came in as a garage fire on the 5100 block of Upland Avenue North at about 6:15 p.m. Coppa said crews bumped it to a two-alarm fire because of the size of the home and the difficulty of gaining access to the house. Crews had extinguished the fire before 8:30 p.m. Smoke detectors alerted those inside the home. Everyone inside made it out safely, Coppa said.
