Six people escaped a house fire with no injuries Friday afternoon in Minneapolis. According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, crews were called at about 2:40 p.m. to a structure fire on the 400 block of 7th Avenue Northeast. Six occupants of the home were able to evacuate prior to firefighter arrival. One person was briefly evaluated for smoke inhalation and released, according to fire officials. The fire conditions progressed up a series of pipe chases, damaging all three floors of the building. The fire was under control about an hour after crews arrived to the scene.
