A $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification of those responsible for a fire and theft south of Faribault is being offered. The suspect(s) stole tools from an enclosed trailer and set the trailer, located in the 3000 block of 260th St. West on fire. The location was at a cell phone tower site. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting the Rice County Sheriff’s Office with its arson investigation.The Sheriff’s Office and State Fire Marshal are looking for information that could assist in the investigation.
