A fire badly damaged an Eden Prairie home overnight. The homeowner called in the fire around 12:45 a.m. after hearing smoke alarms. Five departments were called to the scene on Cedar Ridge Road. Firefighters say the homeowner had been checking out a smell before the fire, but couldn’t find the source. No one was injured in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
