Three people were taken to the hospital after a house fire near Waltham Sunday morning. The Mower County Law Enforcement Center received a 911 call around 6:30 a.m. from a child reporting a fire at a house on the 59000 block of 307th St. When deputies arrived they found smoke coming from the windows, doors and roof vents of the house. Deputies said a man and two young boys had escaped the house.
