Fire investigators have concluded that arson was to blame for a house fire that injured a Moorhead woman, police Capt. Tory Jacobson said in a news release Tuesday, March 20.
The fire at 1924 29th St. Circle S., near Ridgewood Park, was called in by the homeowner about 9 p.m. Monday, March 19, police said.
The homeowner was the only person at the residence, and she suffered injuries from the fire that were not life-threatening, police said. The woman’s name was not released.
The fire department quickly extinguished the blaze, which caused significant smoke damage. Medics took the woman by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, police said.
