The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 12:37 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, on the 19000 block of Love Lake Road for a report of a gas line cut. Firefighters provided standby assistance while the gas company worked on the cut. Firefighters also were called at 1:35 p.m. Friday of a smoking vehicle in the area of Peterson Road, but were canceled en route.
