The only grocery store in the small northern Minnesota town of Cook is believed to be a total loss after a Monday night fire, but the owners plan to rebuild. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office received the report of a fire at Zup's at 8:47 p.m., when the store was closed. A sheriff's deputy arrived on the scene within one minute and saw flames coming from the rear of the building. The Northland FireWire says firefighters did not enter the building right away because it was too dangerous. Crews from multiple departments were on the scene through the night.
