The final numbers in 2018 for the Cokato Fire Department, Ambulance Service, and Museum were presented to the Cokato City Council Monday evening.
Cokato Fire Department
Fire Chief Hutch Erickson shared that the fire department had 101 calls during 2018, which he noted was down from previous years (128 in 2016, and 121 in 2017).
He also stated that there was an increase in motor vehicle-related accidents.
In looking ahead, the fire department recommended to the council that it appoint the same officers who served in 2018, for 2019. The council agreed with the department’s recommendation.
