A mother and her infant child were taken to a hospital after their SUV rolled Wednesday afternoon, but police said the injuries weren't life-threatening.
The SUV rolled after it was clipped by a Ford Taurus changing lanes, according to Billings Police Sgt. Scott Conrad. The contact sent the GMC SUV into the guardrail, where it hit and rolled on Laurel Road. The crash backed up traffic at the site, just east of the King Avenue West interchange.
Conrad said that the woman and her child were the only two taken to the hospital to be checked. They wore seat belts, he added.
