A man suffered smoke inhalation from a garage fire in Hamilton Thursday. Hamilton Fire Chief Brad Mohn said the fire occurred on Blue Heron Lane just off Grantsdale at about 1:45 p.m. The man was found inside the garage by volunteer firefighters and transported to Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. Mohn said there was little exterior damage done to the structure. “The fire was burning inside the garage,” Mohn said. “The garage filled with smoke and he went down inside.” Mohn said the 60 to 70-year-old man was talking to emergency responders before being taken to the hospital.
