New resources have arrived in Kalispell to lead attacks on wildfires across our region. The Blackhawk helicopter that flew into Kalispell on Wednesday will play a vital role in keeping our community safe. "This is a Blackhawk helicopter, a UH60 that is from the Montana National Guard,” said Wyatt Frampton with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation's Northwest Land Office. The new piece of equipment was made available through the National Guard after Governor Bullock declared a state of emergency for wildfires.
