An afternoon blaze severely damaged a home near Yellowstone Country Club on Sunday but no injuries were reported. At about 4 p.m. a structure fire was reported at 5603 Walter Hagen Drive. When firefighters arrived on scene they determined the home was engulfed in flames and were unable to enter the home to fight the flames, said Battalion Chief Dave Gilbert. Gilbert said firefighters believe the home was unoccupied when the fire started. Within an hour after the fire was reported, crews were able to enter the house. The home has a basement and firefighters were checking the lower level for hot spots.
