A fire gutted a Lincoln home on Thursday. Officials say the home was destroyed. A volunteer firefighter was driving along the 3100 block of Stemple Pass Road at around 11:25 a.m. when he noticed smoke coming out of the windows of a modular home. Lincoln Fire Chief Zach Muse said the firefighter was able to call in the house fire to dispatch on his radio. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. No one was home at the time.
