Wildfires rage on in California, forcing thousands from their homes. Now one Montana community that saw some of the worst conditions this fire season is reaching out to help. The Rice Ridge Fire forced much of Seeley Lake to evacuate. Now the Seeley Lake Community Foundation is offering furnished seasonal homes to people displaced by the deadly California wildfires. In a release organizers say, "Our doors are open to you. We understand what you are going through and want to help." Organizers go on to say it's their turn to pay it forward. The SLCF is also looking for more seasonal residents willing to offer their homes as refuge. They say there will be a screening process for anyone who takes them up on the offer.
