Emergency crews are battling a house fire near Belt. The fire was reported at about 8 p.m. on Thursday. The house is along or near Red Coulee Road several miles north of Belt. Firefighters from several departments are at the scene, including Belt Rural, Sand Coulee, and Malmstrom Air Force Base. NorthWestern Energy is also at the scene. There have been no reports of injuries at this point. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire. Reporter Shannon Newth is at the scene; we will update you as we get more information.
