Victim of fatal Greensboro fire reported to 911 she was trapped

Investigators remain on the scene Saturday where a fire killed a 57-year-old woman. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim. Firefighters said the woman called 911 at 1:25 a.m., and told dispatchers her home was on fire and she was trapped in her bedroom. Firefighters responded to 3904 Dogwood Drive and found heavy flames showing from the rear of the home. Emergency crews got the victim out of the home. They immediately began performing CPR on the victim and continued CPR as she was taken to the hospital. The woman died at the hospital, firefighters said. It took 32 firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control. One firefighter was injured, according to an incident report. The fire caused about $70,000 in damage, the report
