A mountain firefighter and his family lost everything in a house fire on Tuesday. The Canada Volunteer Fire Department posted on its facebook page that Assistant Chief Terry McCall's home was destroyed. McCall lived in the home with five other family members, including a brother who is also a member of the fire department. Terry McCall's mother, father and a niece also lived there. No humans were injured in the blaze, but the Canada Volunteer Fire Department posted that two dogs were killed. The department posted this list of items needed, and said donations could be dropped off at the Canada Volunteer Fire Department at 149 Charleys Creek Road in Tuckasegee.
