Fire crews from Thomasville as well as other departments responded to a structure fire at an apartment complex on Wednesday night.
The fire was reported at 8:55 p.m., according to Davidson County Communications.
Crews were dispatched to 212 Arthur Drive, which is the location of Cedar Hills Apartments.
Firefighters on the scene tell FOX8's Amber Roberts the fire displaced 14 residents.
The fire started at the end of the complex, which is a mixture of apartments and townhomes. Flames flared up while a family was cooking french fries on a stove, causing the fire, firefighters said.
