A former volunteer firefighter and law enforcement officer faces several felony charges. Corey Pinyan was arrested last week. He’s accused of stealing four chainsaws from the Klondyke-Chadbourn Fire Department, where he used to be a volunteer firefighter. Chadbourn Police also say Pinyan was a former law enforcement officer. Chadbourn Police say they are working with the fire department to see if anything else was stolen. Police said Pinyan tried to sell the chainsaws throughout the county. Those chainsaws have been recovered. Pinyan is also facing charges for breaking and entering into Enroh Gas. Police said he stole cash and checks from the business.
