Two adults and a child were displaced after a fire destroyed their Durham apartment Monday morning. According to Durham fire officials, crews arrived on scene of a structure fire at 561 Liberty Street just before 6 a.m. Monday. Firefighters arriving on scene reported two-story apartment building with light smoke visible. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within five minutes of them arriving on scene. Although the fire was quickly extinguished, the entier apartment suffered heavy damage.
