Officials are investigating what sparked a house fire that caused $50,000 in damages late Monday afternoon.
Officials say firefighters arrived at a one story home on Holland Avenue around 5:30pm and found the rear of the house fully engulfed in flames. Three rooms were heavily involved, according to officials, when crews entered.
Crews had the fire out in about 10 minutes and no injuries were reported. The residents of the home were evacuated without incident.
The damages are estimated to be around $50,000. The investigation into the cause is ongoing.
