Officials say one person was found dead inside a burning home in Belmont. A firefighter was passing by the home on South Point Road just before 8am when they realized it was on fire and called 911. Officials have not released the identity of the victim. The Fire Marshals office will investigate. There is no word on what caused the fire at this time.
