Two Onslow County women are being hailed as heroes after helping save a military family from a dangerous house fire Sunday morning. The family was inside sleeping at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, when Sheray Adams and a friend were arriving home from a night out when they saw her neighbor's house on Pinewood Drive in Pumpkin Center in flames. "Like we were banging on all the window,s all the doors like we (were) the ATF," Adams said. "We came down here cuz we live in the cul-de-sac.
