This week Kannapolis Firefighters received specialized training for how to respond and treat sports injury emergencies.
Jim Bazluki, MAEd, LAT, ATC, a member of the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Hall of Fame, and who is on staff with Carolinas Healthcare System – Northeast conducted the three day training for Kannapolis Firefighters and Cabarrus EMS personnel.
The Kannapolis Fire Department is onsite at Northwest Cabarrus High School and A.L. Brown High School football games.
