Three charged in relation to July house fire in Thomasville

Three people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a July 2016 house fire on West Holly Hill Road in Thomasville, according to court documents. Timothy Wayne Johnson, 55, of 1410 Holly Grove Road, was charged with eight felony counts including second degree arson, fraudulently burning a dwelling, aid and abet, insurance fraud, obtaining property under false pretenses, conspiracy, exploit the trust of a disabled or elderly person and embezzlement of more than $100,000. Sherry Saunders Johnson, 54, of 1410 Holly Grove Road, was charged with five felony charges including insurance fraud, obtaining property under false pretenses, conspiracy, exploit the trust of a disabled or elderly person and embezzlement of more than $100,000.
