A home caught fire early Thursday morning in Canton. The chief of the Center Pigeon Fire Department told News 13's Lauren Brigman that people were inside of the home with the flames broke out around 4:15 a.m. He said that no one was hurt, but could not say how many people were inside. It is also not clear whether there were any pets in the home. As of 5:30 a.m. the fire was still active but under control, and firefighters were still on the scene. The fire chief said firefighters were called to the home previously on Wednesday evening for an illegal burn.
